The Best Ashen White Granite

Ashen white granite is an off-white background flecked with shades of brown ranging from tan to a darker, espresso-toned color scheme.  A backsplash with glass or ceramic subway tile in white is an option for your ashen white granite worktops. Add accent plates of espresso and cream and wear the colors in the countertop in the backsplash. The subway tile is rectangular and larger, typically three-by-six inches, compared with traditional tiles.

An oasis of solid cream, beige or espresso in traditional, 1-by-1-inch tile also works with this choice of countertop. Choose color on one of the least or most prominent shades of your ashen white granite and create a background of solid, sophisticated style.

Make a pattern that is mosaic style, a mixture of different colors, with traditionally large tiles in white, brick red, deep brown and soft beige. The brick and deep brown may not be in granite itself, but they complement and work with the colors in the worktop for a modern, elegant look. Make your backsplash more glamorous with ashen white granite, perhaps for a more romantic or Parisian inspired space, by adding a background of gold and bronze glass tiles in the subway or traditional dimension.  These provide a sharp yet appropriate contrast to the soft colors of the countertop.
